The primary purpose of this position is: to evaluate and manage the training and education program on behalf of the assigned group and assist unit training managers within supported units, as needed.

Duties

Plans and organizes the group training program and assists unit training managers to ensure combat readiness. Assists with processing of all career development course (CDC) waivers, reenrollment requests, and two-time CDC failures for the group and supported units. Administers Formal School Training and Distance Learning Programs. Responsible for overall management of on-the-job training (OJT) program for the group and oversight of supported unit OJT programs. Manages the seasoning training program (STP). Plans/schedules unit training assembly support.
