Summary

About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the 30th Signal Battalion in Schofield, Hawaii.

Duties

Plans, validates, integrates, and coordinates Requests for Change (RFCs) affecting installation networks, infrastructure, and enterprise services, ensuring alignment with mission requirements, enterprise architecture, and approved IT strategies.

Chairs and coordinates the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and represents NEC-HI in regional and enterprise change management forums and working groups.

Serves as a subject matter expert for ITIL, ESMF, and continuous process improvement, supporting service transition, service level management, and operational excellence.

Performs Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework advisory duties in coordination with IASO/IANO personnel to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and directives.

Develops and maintains enterprise documentation, including CONOPs, TTPs, policies, procedures, roles and responsibilities, and knowledge management artifacts
