U.S. Army Cyber Command
31 remote or telework-eligible positions · federal agency
U.S. Army Cyber Command (ARCYBER) is the Army’s component for cyberspace operations, electronic warfare and information operations, and it also oversees the Army’s enterprise networks through its subordinate Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). Its headquarters is at Fort Eisenhower, Georgia, alongside the Army’s Cyber Center of Excellence, but NETCOM’s signal units and network enterprise centers sit on installations around the world, which is where most of the civilian IT work is done.
Recent listings have included telecommunications specialists, information technology specialists in network services, policy and planning, customer support, systems analysis, network security and INFOSEC, supervisory IT specialists for network services and systems administration, a network and systems administration IT specialist, a supervisory electronics technician, a financial management specialist and interdisciplinary positions.
Applying tip: IT specialist announcements in the 2210 series name a specialty in parentheses and ask you to show the four IT competencies (attention to detail, customer service, oral communication and problem solving) in your resume, so address them explicitly. Many ARCYBER and NETCOM positions require a security clearance and a DoD cyber workforce certification, and the announcement will say which. Our IT and cybersecurity guide covers the 2210 series in depth.
