Summary
This position is located in the Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, Operations Division,Office of Operations Management. This position's primary purpose is to serve as a Lead Representative focusing on high priority and /or high value contracts and supporting the Program CORs to administer a variety of contracts that support counternarcotic law enforcement programs.
Duties
As a Contracting Officer's Representative, your typical work assignments may include. Coordinate procurement actions and contract requirements with stakeholders to develop statements of work, conduct market research, and support new acquisitions. Administer contracts by monitoring contractor performance, reviewing deliverables, validating invoices, and tracking budgets. Evaluate contractor compliance through inspections, resolve performance or schedule deficiencies, and escalate complex issues to the Contracting Officer. Maintain contract oversight processes, including Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), COR files, invoice procedures, and corrective action tracking. Advise management on contract administration, provide technical clarifications, monitor obligations, and prepare fiscal and performance status reports.
