Duties
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST for the Code 1043 Cybersecurity Branch of Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD).
You will be responsible for the implementation and administration of the Cybersecurity Program across the Division.
You will be responsible for supporting the Command Information Officer (CIO), Deputy Command Information Officer (DCIO), Commanding Officer (CO), and Technical Director (TD) on all cybersecurity related issues.
You will be responsible for the execution of the Cybersecurity Program and Assessment and Authorization (AA) process.
You will provide technical advice and guidance on a wide variety of AA processes, guidance, documentation, and review of authority to operate (ATO) documents to confirm that the level of risk is within acceptable limits.
You will assist in managing and executing an effective Cybersecurity Program including providing technical advice and guidance on a wide variety of Cyber Workforce personnel matters.
You will make assignments, set and adjust short-term priorities, goals, and objectives, and provide guidance on work or administrative issues to ensure completion of work for the branch.
You will develop performance objectives, conduct performance evaluations, undertake performance corrective actions, identify and recommend developmental and training needs for the branch.
