Duties
You will serve as a principal advisor on enterprise IT strategy, cybersecurity, and technology modernization initiatives.
You will lead the planning, operation, security, and management of the Naval War College's independent classified and unclassified network environments supporting academic, research, administrative, and wargaming missions.
You will function as the command's senior technical authority for information technology, information security, knowledge management, and telecommunications programs.
You will evaluate emerging technologies, develop strategic IT solutions, and collaborate with Navy, DoD, academic, and industry partners to advance mission capabilities and innovation.
You will provide second-level supervision through subordinate supervisors overseeing networking, systems, user services, application support, and contractor operations.
You will represent the Naval War College leadership in strategic IT discussions with Navy and DOW organizations and serve as the CIO’s principal alternate.
