Summary
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF STAFF, DIR OF ARSTAF, PROGRAM MGMT DIR (PMD) at PENTAGON-ARLINGTON, VA.
Duties
Directs and evaluates the Division's information, personnel, physical, and communications security programs to ensure compliance with Army and Department of Defense security requirements.
Develops security policies and operational procedures that address emerging mission requirements and protect sensitive information, personnel, facilities, and capabilities.
Identifies complex security vulnerabilities affecting sensitive activities and global operational concepts.
Establishes risk mitigation strategies to prevent unauthorized disclosure and preserve mission integrity during operational execution.
Designs and evaluates the Division’s Information Assurance program to maintain the integrity of mission-critical systems and networks.
Establishes system accreditation standards that comply with Army and Department of Defense cybersecurity directives.
