Summary
You will serve as a PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT (DPSR) in the Code 300N.4, the REACTOR SERVICING division of the NUCLEAR PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT at PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will direct and assure the success of the overhaul by being the direct liaison with all levels of Shipyard management and through subordinate levels of supervision.
You will provide information and advice regarding projects schedules, budget estimates, changes in production techniques or standards, and equipment and facility requirements to accomplish the work.
You will plan work assignments considering trades involved, availability of manpower and equipment, deadlines, and other work projects.
You will manage the material and overtime programs to assure proper execution and recommend cost saving improvements.
You will implement policy developed at higher levels and assign or hold responsible those organizations accountable for proper execution of the overhaul.
You will coordinate employee assignments with other trades, engineers, military advisors, superintendents, and managers.
