Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The project is small and consists of two positions. Both positions are supported by a basin staff to help with the administrative duties as well as the day to day on goings of the project.

Duties

Implement of a variety of natural resource management programs and activities concerning multiple use integration and coordination.

Patrol land and water to enforce regulations.

Execute project interpretive programs which includes the enrichment of visitors experience through special presentations, guided walks, environmental and cultural educational programs at the project, schools, or other off-site locations.

Educate the public on natural resources policy and/or regulations.

Plan studies related to visitor services and use of recreational facilities and other project areas.

Coordinate with a Project Manager in performing key duties in developing and administering the operation and maintenance of project equipment and facilities, and maintenance contracts.

Train other personnel in flood damage reduction data collection and inspection procedures.
