Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DoD Statutory Direct Hire Authorities to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as the senior Budget Analyst to the Chief, Resource Management Division, U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division (USACID).

Duties

Analyze historical spending trends to project future resource needs.

Draft narrative justifications to defend budget requests during higher headquarters reviews.

Initiate reprogramming actions to optimize fund utilization.

Brief senior leaders on budget deviations, execution rates, and funding shortfalls.

Recommend corrective courses of action to resolve fiscal discrepancies.

Review commitment, obligation, and expenditure document to prepare assoicated reports.

Utilizes financial systems to distribute funds, perform accounting reconciliation, and correct unmatched disbursements.
