Summary
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA HC/Operations Support Office.
Duties
Leadership, overseeing and managing an portfolio of computing and communications information products and services.
Makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate supervisors and establishes priorities and schedules.
Assures reasonable equity of performance standards and rating techniques developed by subordinate supervisors and reviews evaluations.
Makes decisions on the application of both financial and personnel resources in support of enduring and emergent requirements.
Finds and implements ways to eliminate or reduce significant bottlenecks and barriers to production, promotes team building and improves business practices.
Education
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-15 grade level.
