Summary

This position is located in the Government Accountability Office. The position is the strategic bridge between senior leadership, business stakeholders, and IT support offices to define priorities, facilitate data accuracy, ensure integration, and enable streamlined data collection and reporting requirements.

Duties

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, PT, 0343, 4, your typical work assignments may include the following: Ensure business and compliance requirements across functional areas are represented and aligned within GAO's enterprise-wide initiatives and upgrades. Participates in enterprise governance forums related to data, systems, and digital transformation. Engage in management decision making related to technology practice, policy, and architecture, including those using proven technologies and emerging technologies and practices to improve and promote operational efficiency and effectiveness. Provides strategic direction for business operations by aligning technology, data governance, risk management, performance, and integration priorities with agency mission and operational goals. Coordinates and collaborates with data owners across the organization in areas that include integrated assessment, service design, change management, transition readiness, quality assurance, operational readiness, testing, and customer support processes. Develops and presents product vision to relevant stakeholders and team members. Prepares and maintains transition plans, roadmaps, and other documentation for system/initiative changes. Identifies risks related to data integrity and reporting accuracy and recommends mitigation strategies.
