Summary
You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist in the Submarine and Maritime Industrial Operations Directorate (N97), NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support, providing direct support to the Quality Assurance Branch within the Submarine Technical Division.
Duties
You will perform quality assurance functions supporting the manufacturing and repair of equipment and components, ensuring compliance with the stringent quality standards required for critical Level I, SUBSAFE, and Special Emphasis programs.
You will perform quality assurance reviews of awarded contracts and draft Statements of Work, Memoranda of Agreement, and other supporting documentation.
You will provide guidance to technical and contracting offices on procurement-related quality assurance matters.
You will receive, review, and evaluate Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs).
You will prepare engineering referrals, as required.
You will track the status of open assignments; initiate follow-up correspondence as needed; and enter and maintain records in appropriate system
Education
