Summary
About the Position: Serves as Program Analyst for the Residential Communities Initiative (RCI) Office. Responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating program trends and accomplishments and evaluating the effectiveness of current andprojected programs.
Duties
Evaluate program funding plans to ensure proper execution
Oversee project funds control to ensure that costs are within available funds.
Review funds justifications to provide support on reprogramming of funds and/or funding levels due to changes in workload.
Analyze budgetary relationships to develop recommendations for budgetary actions.
Review of Portfolio Assessment management reports to recommend approval to the division chief.
Provide findings of analyses to support recommendations to management.
Review obligations maintained by the fiscal automated systems.
Analyze data to identify potential problems.
Provide assessments of impact from delays or slippage in program execution.
Recommend changes to level peaks and valleys.
Develop recommendations for budgetary adjustments to support unanticipated changes in program operations.
Prepare narrative justifications for projected funding needs.
Complete Office of Secretary of Defense (OSD) mandates Program Evaluation Plan (PEP) report on a semiannual basis.
Conduct management studies for cost-effective organization studies to develop future programming plans as required
Provide independent evaluation of program performance.
Assist the organization with programming analysis.
