Summary
About the Position: This position is with the Defense Health Agency, located at Tripler Army Medical Center, Directorate of Resource Management, Honolulu Hawaii. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
Serve as the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) Department of Defense (DoD)/ Veterans Affairs (VA) Liaison, responsible for the financial oversight and administration of special projects.
Coordinate the preparation of guidance, procedures, and direction for planning, organizing, developing, and implementing policy to ensure an efficient and effective program.
Develop and write guidance on techniques for management and methods improvements to support resource sharing.
Provide direction, coordination, advice, and assistance to clinical and administrative staff to achieve successful program.
Authorize, negotiate, and pursue agreements that carry legal implications and requirements under the Department of Defense (DoD) / Veterans Affairs (VA) sharing program.
Research and develop plan to resolve reimbursement, claim denial, and authorization process issues.
Serve as the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) central Point of Contact for sharing information, providing executive updates, and participating in official site visits/office calls for MTF/VA related issues/events.
Serve as Military Treatment Facility (MTF)’s lead facilitator for the Joint Governance Structure composed of the Joint Executive Management Team and Joint Working Groups.
Education
