Summary
You will serve as a Lead Supply Management Specialist in the Logisitics Support Team of NAVSUP FLC SD GF.
Duties
You will provide support to Littoral Combat Ships (LCS) for all functional and operation tasks associated with acquiring subsistence to the LCS Fleet.
You will process Class I orders, receipts, cancellations, returns, redistribution of stock, coordinating deliveries, record keeping, inventory, and customer contact for assigned ships.
You will conduct operational analysis, generate process improvement pathways to improve efficiency and performance, and prioritize work requirements to meet operational demands
You will expedite emergency requirements and interface with ships/port services, prime vendors, Husbanding Service Providers (HSPs), Combat Logistics Force (CLF) ships, Subsistence Specialists, and Logistics Support Representatives (LSRs) globally
Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education.
