Duties
Performs duties as team leader and is responsible to the supervisor for assuring that the work of the team is carried out by performing a range of coordinating and supportive duties and abilities.
Coach team in selection and application of appropriate problem-solving methods and techniques, provide advice on work methods, practices and procedures, and assist the team and/or individual members in identifying the parameters of a viable solution.
Monitor and report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work to see that the supervisor's instructions on work priorities, methods, deadlines and quality have been met.
Serve as coach, facilitator and/or negotiator in coordinating team initiatives and in consensus building activities among team members.
Monitors and analyzes the daily fuel inventory records for Defense Working Capital Funded DLA-owned petroleum inventory at assigned DFSPs for timeliness and accuracy.
Reviews data in the Fuels Manager Defense (FMD), Enterprise External Business Portal (EEBP) and Enterprise Business System (EBS) to identify errors and ensures timely correction by the processing Defense Fuel Support Points (DFSPs).
Plans, develops, manages, and evaluates the Fuel Inventory Accounting and Fuel Loss Control Programs for their assigned geographical areas.
Recommends changes to current policy and procedures to support the accurate and timely identification of fuel losses and inventory accountability for both wholesale and retail operations.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
