About the Position: This position is located in San Antonio, Texas, with the Defense Health Agency. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Salary negotiation may be available for those new to Federal service.
Duties
Administers and maintains servers, virtual machines, storage systems, and enterprise applications supporting Military Treatment Facilities.
Performs server patching, configuration updates, system imaging, and ongoing maintenance.
Monitors system performance, system logs, and alerts to identify and resolve backend issues.
Prioritizes and escalates system issues based on mission impact and urgency.
Enforces encryption standards, secure authentication practices, and proper system access protocols.
Participates in planning meetings for system rollouts and infrastructure upgrades.
Maintains accurate documentation of system configurations, baselines, and change history.
