Summary
This position is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. This position is for DISA White House Communications Agency at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, District of Columbia. This is an Excepted Service position and does not confer eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. If you are a current Federal Career/Career-Conditional employee, you will be placed on an Excepted appointment under 10 U.S.C. 1599f.
Duties
Responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing daily enterprise IT operations center, executive-level communications, and current organizational operations.
Coordinates cross-functional troubleshooting efforts between network engineering, cybersecurity service providers, and external mission partners to ensure rapid restoration of degraded services.
Synthesizes complex technical IT data into operational impact assessments, evaluating network events and cyber threats to determine their effect on mission readiness.
Translates highly technical IT and cybersecurity metrics into clear, plain-language operational terms for non-technical commanders and decision-makers.
Develops, reviews, and refines local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and battle drills for the Operations Center to ensure alignment with agency-wide IT frameworks.
Education
There is no substitution of education for the Qualifying Experience at the GG-13 grade level.
