Summary

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Enterprise Architecture and Data Group (EADG). As an IT Specialist (Enterprise Architecture), GS-2210-14, you will serve as a senior technical expert on enterprise architecture, driving transformation initiatives that align IT investments with CMS's mission to advance health equity, expand coverage, and improve health outcomes.

Duties

Direct high-visibility architecture studies and transformation initiatives, applying human-centered design to define enterprise-level business requirements.

Oversee the integration of enterprise architecture into CMS's capital planning and investment control process, reducing risk and ensuring interoperability across IT investments.

Develop and promote CMS-wide governance frameworks and policies, leading architecture review processes to ensure major IT investments align with approved enterprise standards.

Represent CMS in interagency forums and federal working groups, advising senior leadership and shaping government-wide architecture policy and standards.
