Summary

About the Position: This position falls under the DoDEA HQ Education Directorate - Student Services Division - located at the Mark Center Building in Alexandria, VA.

Duties

Provide research-based improvements to short and long-term professional learning programs.

Analyze program data to evaluate effectiveness.

Ensure professional leadership curriculum is consistent and of high quality across all DoWEA districts or regions.

Collaborate with DoWEA educators; ISSs, unions and other professional organizations to develop professional learning policies.

Maintain professional learning – related contracts to ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency policies.

Deliver high quality professional learning sessions to elementary education professionals to include in-person, virtual and blended techniques.
