Duties
As a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST, GS-0201-09 you will plan, organize, and oversee the full complement of activities within the State Air National Guard Headquarters administrative and personnel programs. Oversee State ANG Headquarter programs to facilitate the commander's vision. Oversee workflow and tasking to ensure personnel and administrative processes are completed as required. Review organization mission, functions, and manning requirements. Identify requirements and initiates requests for additional resources including equipment and supplies to ensure success in meeting goals and objectives. Establish metrics and analysis systems to ensure actions are timely processed, measured, and reviewed at critical points. Perform self-inspection and presents a detailed and comprehensive report with any corrective actions taken to supervisor. Other duties as assigned. Telework: ELIGIBLE FOR SITUATIONAL TELEWORK ONLY, INCLUDING EMERGENCY AND PRESCRIBED "UNSCHEDULED TELEWORK" Work Schedule: This position works on a 5/4/9 compressed work schedule that consists of a 5 day workweek, then a 4 day workweek ( 8 nine-hour days and 1 eight-hour day and an SDO, Scheduled Day Off) to complete the 80 hour pay period. Work schedule is subject to change based on mission requirements.
Education
Combining Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade levels specified below: GS-9 master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related
