This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare, Provider Communications Group (PCG).. As a Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-14, you will lead administrative operations, communications, budgets, HR activities, projects, and policy reviews.
Duties
Leading complex Medicare provider communications projects, developing outreach strategies, and translating technical policy into accurate, plain-language content.
Advising senior leadership on communication strategies, sensitive administrative matters, personnel issues, organizational initiatives, and operational priorities.
Directing administrative operations, including budgets, training, correspondence, clearances, travel, records, office services, and coordination with other components.
Serving as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders, coordinating cross-component projects, resolving communication issues, and representing leadership priorities.
Evaluating policies, processes, procedures, and operational issues, conducting management analyses, and implementing improvements to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
