Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare (CM), Medicare Drug Benefit and C & D Data Group (MDBG), Division of Part D Policy (DPDP) As a Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-14, you will develop, evaluate, and implement Medicare prescription drug benefit policies.
Duties
Represents the Director/Deputy Director and collaborates with senior CMS, Department, industry, and government stakeholders on activities affecting Medicare Part D plans.
Builds and maintains working relationships with other center and groups within CMS and HHS for collaboration on electronic pharmacy standards and coordination of benefits work.
Provides expert guidance in the evaluation of proposed, modified, or new legislation and regulations.
Performs studies or data analysis to assess the impact of proposed policies or changes on current or future operations or program decisions.
