Summary
About the Position: You will serve as principal administrative support assistant. Responsible for the accomplishment of the clerical, administrative and office automation functions of the Area Office. Work requires general knowledge of office mission and functions of Branch and an understanding of how the office administrative services relate to each other and to the mission.
Duties
Advise manager(s) on practical and technical aspects of office administration, including budgeting, purchasing, supply management, personnel administration, data processing and files management and performs staff support.
Track financial, personnel, supply and other administrative transactions as documentation flows through office in electronic and paper form.
Collect data for office operating budget, review submissions of office staff assistants for proper format and compliance with budget requirements and consolidates material into annual office budget.
Provide contract administration support.
Use automation equipment and software (word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.), to produce a wide variety material, e.g., correspondence, reports, graphics, calendars, charts, statistical tables and various forms and documents.
