Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Epidemiologist, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Lead and conduct complex epidemiologic studies and surveillance activities by designing studies, analyzing public health issues, evaluating epidemiologic methods, and developing procedures to improve data quality and study implementation. Provide scientific consultation and technical assistance to federal, state, local, and other public health organizations on complex epidemiologic investigations, surveillance systems, and public health research activities. Analyze, interpret, and disseminate epidemiologic research findings by preparing scientific reports, manuscripts, publications, and presentations for professional audiences and peer-reviewed journals. Translate epidemiologic evidence into public health practice by collaborating with internal and external partners to apply research findings, improve prevention strategies, and support public health decision-making.
Education
