Duties

Responsible for the overall management, control, coordination and execution of assigned programs and projects involving Remediation and Compliance Assessment of Bulk Petroleum initiatives within DLA Energy.

Coordinate environmental compliance and restoration considerations into DLA Energy's planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental considerations, etc., for environmental restoration and compliance projects.

Review and analyze cost reports to assure charges are authorized and appropriate; identifies unauthorized charges and assures corrective actions are taken for the ultimate disposition of inappropriate charges.

Responsible for keeping DLA Energy customers fully informed of projects/programs' progress, issues and their resolution, and any impacts on costs.

Provide recommendations to DLA Energy concerning new or changed programs/regulations and recommend changes in environmental program implementation and procedures based on knowledge of program requirements and problems encountered.

Prepare appropriate contractual clauses and independent government estimates to ensure compliance with environmental requirements by contractors, officials, managers, professionals or executives of other agencies and outside organizations.

Education

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
