Summary
You will serve as a ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN/ASSESSMENT DIRECTOR in the Engineering Department of FWD DEPLOYED REG MAINT CTR DET ROTA, Rota, Spain.
Duties
You will prepare and negotiate schedule requests with availability scheduling elements.
You will manage military personnel, government engineers and technicians, contractors, local nationals, data entry personnel, and logisticians in support of program visits and events.
You will utilize the Maintenance Data Systems to plan, execute, and complete assessments.
You will identify the appropriate assessment procedures.
You will assist in compiling and establishment of the full assessment team.
You will provide oversight of the visit to ensure distribution and balance of the workload among the team members and Ship's Force representatives.
You will conduct a formal debrief with the ship, command leadership and stakeholders utilizing professional briefing methods.
You will provide support for managing and compiling results of the assessment visit or event.
You will recommend corrective action for deficiencies discovered during the assessment visits.
You will represent the command at meetings and conferences.
You will inspect in-process work on ships, which involves climbing, bending, stooping, and crawling.
