Summary

You will serve as a INSTALLATION EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICER in the Region Emergency Management Division (N37) of NAS CORPUS CHRISTI.

Duties

You will develop and maintain a comprehensive Installation EM Plan in accordance with format and content guidance promulgated by CNRSE N37.

You will conduct a comprehensive Installation Hazard/Risk Assessment to determine which hazards and threats pose the greatest risk to the Installation.

You will manage all aspects of EOC operations during exercises, integrated drills, and real world incidents to ensure EOC-IMT effectiveness and execution of standard EOC processes and procedures in accordance with higher headquarters’ guidance.

You will manage the Installation EM program budget. Plans, prioritizes, and executes purchases for supplies, equipment maintenance, travel and training.

You will coordinate with the Installation Training Officer to incorporate EM-related training objectives into all integrated drills and exercises conducted at the Installation.

You will establish and maintain operating processes and a work environment that are conducive to effective and efficient execution of EM operations.

You will provide leadership, management, and oversight to personnel conducting dispatch-related functions during contingency dispatch operations.
