Summary
About the Position: This Clinical Psychologist (Mental Health Consultant) GS-0180-13 position is located in Primary Care at Dunham Army Health Clinic, Carlisle Barracks. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
Education
