Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for r Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Execute all budgets within the assigned areas of responsibility. Work requires knowledge and skills in application of related laws, regulations, policies, procedures, methods and techniques of budgeting-related duties, including receipt and input of funding documents.

Duties

Perform in-depth budget analysis.

Develop and formulate a major segment of a budget request for the coming fiscal year.

Devise and recommend the adoption of procedures to implement budgetary processes, policies, and regulations.

Extract and present financial information in analytical and narrative form to higher management.

Perform budget administration functions in the execution of an annual appropriated fund budget for a major organization segment or program.

Receive and maintain cognizance of approved funds; responsible for day-to-day management and administration of the organization's budget.
