The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Air Force hydrology subject matter specialist and consultant for issues associated with environmental restoration for all Air Force installations, Air Force organizations, and other DoD agencies.
Duties
1. As an Air Force hydrologist, oversees the planning and implementation of environmental engineering policies and programs related to hydrology that are directly or indirectly concerned with public safety, welfare, and protection of natural resources Air Force wide. 2. Individually or as committee chair, evaluates the technical and scientific requirements of proposals. 3. Develops performance standards and formulates hydrology evaluation criteria including quality control measures to be included as integral parts of contractual agreements and/or awards. 4. Represents AFCEC in contract activities which directly impact the Government's interest.
