Summary
About the Position: Serve as the Administrative Officer responsible for a broad range of administrative, financial and office management functions to include special functions in planning, organizing, directing and managing the offices administrative programs.
Duties
Makes recommendations to resolve discrepancies based upon the interpretation of applicable regulations.
Provides assistance to project staff to resolve a variety of administrative problems requiring the application of various guidelines and coordination with the responsible staff at the office.
Tracks receipt of supplies and services to ensure the Government receives goods and services on time.
Uses computerized spreadsheets as a tool for monitoring planned financial and manpower resources for programs.
Provides administrative functions including processing mail, answering phones, calendar management, onboarding/outboarding activities and maintenance of personnel records, timekeeping and payroll, and key inventory and access control.
Liaise between the field office and District staff offices regarding personnel, IT, supplies and other administrative transactions.
Reviews administrative management techniques and procedures to make recommendations to the Branch Chief on needed improvements.
