Summary

The Administrative Officer (AO) is the principal nonclinical administrative authority for a large, complex clinical service comprised of multiple diagnostic imaging modalities/programs and administrative support sections.

Duties

The AO provides expert advisory services and executes all administrative functions across budget, procurement/contracting, human resources administration, program/operations analysis, policy management, and quality/performance improvement. Duties include but not limited to: Provides authoritative advice and counsel to the Service Chief and leadership on administrative operations, policy implementation, resource planning, and workflow/process issues; prepares briefings, decision papers, and position statements. Interprets agency/network/facility policies and regulations, identifies operational risks and constraints, and recommends solutions to complex administrative challenges; participates in planning councils, committees, and workgroups. Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday Telework: This position may be authorized for telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
