Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) is the Navy’s facilities engineering command. It plans, designs, builds, maintains and disposes of the Navy and Marine Corps shore infrastructure: piers, runways, utilities, barracks, hangars and the public works departments that keep installations running. It also awards and administers the construction and facility support contracts behind that work and manages environmental compliance on Navy property.
