Duties

Serves as a Writer-Editor for the Director, Deputy Director, and other principals. Interacts and consults both verbally and in writing with senior military, civilian and industry partners throughout the duration.

Researches, writes, and edits a variety of materials, including SITREPs, talking points, victory reports, and training materials, and other products on the organization, mission, operations, history, objectives, interests, and viewpoints.

Edits and writes other material including congressional testimony on the agency position on matters before Congress and correspondence Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Service Chiefs, and members of Congress.

Responsible for the preparation and selection of material for posting to that area of the Director’s Group Workspace.

Provides significant advice and counsel to civilian public and private sector leadership and senior joint service leaders on the Director’s needs and intent.

Education

There is no substitution of education for specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level
