Summary
You will serve as the LCAC Operations Task Lead in the ACV Technical Services Branch, Expeditionary Systems Division of NAVSURFWARFCTR PANAMA CITY DIVISION. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
You will serve as the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Operations Task Lead within the Air Cushion Vehicle (ACV) branch of Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division.
You will interpret technical publications, equipment manuals, and engineering changes to develop and enforce practical, step-by-step operating checklists for craft crews, operating procedures, and inclement weather precautions.
You will generate, review, and revise Safe Engineering and Operations (SEAOPS) manual change proposals.
You will coordinate craft and crew support for developmental and operational testing (DT/OT) of new craft upgrades.
You will conduct operational risk assessments (ORM) for upcoming missions and formulate formal contingency plans.
You will maintain a dynamic, long-range master schedule coordinating craft availability, crew training, and maintenance windows.
You will facilitate weekly synchronization meetings between military leadership, civilian managers, and technical contractor teams.
