Summary

You will serve as a TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER (ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL) in the UNMANNED & THEATER UNDERSEA WARFARE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT, TECHNICAL PROJECT OFFICE of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.

Duties

You will serve as a recognized technical expert for projects, evaluating the technical health of projects and operational support areas, providing technical direction, and coordinating the integration of system engineering efforts.

You will manage project execution to meet customer cost, schedule, and performance (C/S/P) requirements, using EVM and other Project Management Principles to assess project planning and provide detailed quotes as required to meet tasking.

You will develop and implement key indicators for Cost/Schedule/Performance (C/S/P) on programs and projects, including hazardous/operational risks, and initiate corrective actions when necessary to ensure performance objectives are met.

You will ensure all project requirements and scope are fully understood and documented for Programs/Projects/Tasking. You will also ensure technical risks are addressed and effectively communicated to all stakeholders.

You will establish and maintain effective working relationships with high-level Navy, Civilian, and Contractor personnel and negotiate with resource managers to perform workforce shaping for current and projected workload.

You will provide guidance, oversight, and mentoring to other TPMs and Project/Task Leads, conduct project performance and technical reviews, and ensure compliance with all Keyport and Code 50 Directives.
