Summary
About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located in Fort Eustis, VA.
Duties
Provides program oversight to assure timely operational support, integration and execution of new or changing logistical management concepts.
Performs logistics planning for the organization by analyzing the mission, establishing program objectives and developing short and long-range plans for accomplishment of those objectives.
Conducts studies, reviews and analyses of brigade-wide logistics posture. Accomplishes on-site reviews of units to determine the adequacy of logistics management and adherence to logistics regulations.
Provides staff advice and assistance concerning logistical operations.
Assigns work, establishes target dates and priorities, monitors progress of projects and other assignments, provides guidance and assistance in the resolution of technical and policy problems.
