Summary
About the Position: This position is for a Supervisory Logistics Management Specialist with the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), AMCOM Logistics Center, AMCOM Field Maintenance Directorate. Serves as Division Chief of assigned area accomplishing work through a group of professional, technical, and support personnel. The pay band NH-04 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-14. Capped at GS-14 step 10.
Duties
Serves as deputy or division chief of assigned area accomplishing work through a group of professional, technical, and support personnel.
Directs, develops, and/or implements logistics policies, processes, initiatives, and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon or information systems acquisition in the areas of Logistics Support.
Develops milestones for projects.
Performs the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties.
Evaluates performance of subordinates; gives advice, counsel and/or instruction to subordinates on both work and administrative matters.
Develops performance standards.
Exercises full authority as a member of the pay pool management, in assessing contribution and preparing statements of duties and experience for Demonstration employees.
