Summary

About the Position: Serves as Industrial Engineer in charge of procurement and manufacturing quality assurance.

Duties

Provides technical expertise in the resolution of complex engineering problems and chemical munition and chemical protective equipment manufacturing.

Performs design analysis to ascertain that equipment capabilities can meet design specifications and quality standards.

Manages vendor quality compliance by auditing procurement contracts, executing onsite evaluations and driving continuous improvement to minimize supplier defects.

Conducts technical reviews to assess quality of end items and recommend corrective actions to the Material Review Board.

Assigns work to subordinates based on priority, difficulty, employee capability and equitable distribution of work.
