Duties
Pathways Internship positions provide for development and training. Assignments become more responsible as incumbent increases knowledge and skills through work experience and academic training. At the full-performance level, you will be expected to:
Utilizes basic computer skills to perform a variety of duties with an increasing degree of difficulty and responsibility.
Applies available technologies and basic principles to adapt computer methods for a variety of subject matter situations.
Operates varied equipment to perform standardized tests and clerical assignments under the guidance of senior staff.
Prepares technical and administrative reports to assist senior officials with project documentation and status updates.
Interfaces with senior program officials and internal staff to exchange information needed to complete assignments.
Provides assistance to senior staff members by participating in projects that evaluate system requirements and procedures.
Resolves recurring problems by applying a body of standardized rules, procedures, and operations.
Analyzes data during collection to support the evaluation of IT system requirements and procedures.
Identifies and refers deviations, problems, and unfamiliar situations to the supervisor for decision or help.
