Summary
If selected, you will be part of the Pathways Program as a Student Intern for a comprehensive mentorship and career development program intended to prepare you for a career in the Field of Human Resources.
Duties
The duties described are for the full-performance level. At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
The duties may include, but are not limited to:
Performing a variety of Human Resources functions
Assisting higher level employees in evaluating the success of programs in attaining their production goals
Assisting with the processing of routine operational actions, forms, or records and gathering information for reports
Referring inquiries to the appropriate staff member
How you will be evaluated
Applications will be evaluated in accordance with Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) Delegated Examining Procedures and USDA policy using category rating. This means you will be evaluated based on how well you meet the qualifications listed in this vacancy announcement. Applicants who meet basic minimum qualifications will be placed in one of three categories: Best Qualified, Well Qualified, or Qualified.
