Summary
This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the Department of War Cyber Defense Command (DCDC).
Duties
Plans and performs all security management functions for both SCI and non-SCI programs, including developing, implementing, and managing a multi-faceted security program.
Directs and controls the planning, development, implementation, and administration of physical security measures, and conducts site inspections for compliance.
Conducts studies to analyze program effectiveness and provides expert advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of security policies and procedures.
Manages the personnel security program, including maintaining accountability of authorized access, managing the billet process, and performing continuous evaluation of personnel.
Oversees investigations of security incidents, notifies leadership of findings, and recommends corrective actions to ensure compliance with established directives.
Education
There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-13 grade level.
