Duties
You will plan, assign and provide oversight of work of rigger operations on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
You will perform regular site supervision ensuring conformance to procedures and processes and established goals, safe work practices and good housekeeping.
You will resolve work stoppages, taking action to overcome bottlenecks, equipment breakdowns and material shortages.
You will utilize schedules, shipyard instructions and shop processes to establish goal oriented work assignments.
You will provide technical direction and mentorship to assigned workers in the rigging trade.
You will inspect completed work for quality and work order requirements.
You will provide workforce administration through performance evaluations, disciplinary and award actions and by providing training to reach developmental milestones.
