Summary
You will serve as a QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST in the QUALITY VERIFICATION BRANCH/SPK22/SPK2201 of SWFLANT KINGS BAY. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13.
Duties
You will serve as a technical expert, reviewing and approving documentation changes for missile and weapons systems.
You will develop and manage surveillance programs to evaluate contractor product assurance and manufacturing systems.
You will lead quality investigations into processing anomalies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
You will act as the primary government acceptance authority for missile, launcher, and guidance components.
You will monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with all contractual quality and safety requirements.
