Summary

You will serve as a PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC AFFAIRS OFFICE of NAVAL ACADEMY.

Duties

You will , expand, and manage the organization's social media presence; creating and publishing engaging digital and visual content across multiple platforms to promote programs and reach diverse audiences.

You will use social media dashboards and distribution tools to strategically target and share content based on audience psychographics, demographics, location, and subject matter.

You will ensure compliance with all web standards, terms of use and regulations.

You will create daily social media content, engage with the online audience, and coordinate with the media team to repurpose content across multiple digital channels.

You will coordinate and host visits for media personnel and influencers, facilitate interviews, manage on-site logistics, and research background info to address media inquiries.

You will respond to public inquiries regarding organization events and policies, providing accurate information or directing inquiries to the appropriate office.

You will perform other related duties as assigned to support team operations.

Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
