Summary
The incumbent provides administrative and clerical support and assistance to the Chief, Primary Care Service and Assistant Chiefs, Primary Care at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center, Department of Veterans Affairs, Columbus, Ohio, and reports directly to the Primary Care Administrative Officer. Incumbent provides program support and ensures that practices and procedures are consistent with those of the office.
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to: Provides typing and clerical assistance for Primary Care Service Line Chief, Primary Care Assistant Chiefs, and other Primary Care leadership members, consultants, residents, therapists, and others as directed by Primary Care Leadership. Responsible for recording/taking minutes and transcribes information into draft and final form, editing material when necessary. Documents to be prepared or typed in support of the effective functioning of the Primary Care Service include but are not limited to correspondence, minutes of meetings, standard operating procedures, presentations, reports, memoranda, narrative evaluation, and proficiency ratings for Primary Care Service Line staff under the supervision of the Chief, Primary Care. Serves as a point of contact for Credentialing and Privileging (C&P) within the Primary Care service. Maintains Ongoing Peer Performance Evaluations (OPPE), Focused Peer Performance Evaluations (FPPE) and files for providers, mid-level providers and other administrative staff as needed. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Telework: This position may be authorized for Ad- Hoc telework.
