Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is a Power Plant Maintenance and Remote Operations Supervisor, WB-4701-00 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Southwestern Division, Little Rock District, Operations Division, and the duty location is Branson, MO.
Duties
Directs preventive and break-down maintenance to minimize equipment outage time and maintain maximum availability of equipment.
Accomplishes maintenance of major equipment at times, and within time limits, coordinated with and allowed by the division.
Participates in the planning and administration of both long and short-range programs relative to major maintenance problems on dam and related equipment.
Conducts all work in strict compliance with the Corps' Hazardous Energy Control Procedures.
