Summary
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is with the Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, Operations Division, Brazos River Floodgates Project Office, located in Freeport, TX.
Duties
Plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools.
Track and report progress of work assignments.
Assign work to individual employees involved in the performance of lock and dam operations.
Advise and counsel workers on complaints.
Coordinate work with the Lock master, to maintain work progress and meet schedules.
Set performance standards, for subordinate employees.
